WOYWW 457 - 7.3.18 - an utter mess
Good day crafty friends! It's been a while, unfortunately I've been struggling to get my anxiety to calm down enough to post on my blog. I must say though I am pleased to be back.
So today I am sharing my disaster of a desk, if you would like to see more desks and crafty inspiration visit Julia at the stamping ground.
I hope to be tidying it on Friday, see the ruler on my desk, that's my first one in 10 years. My partners mother decided I needed one for crafting hahaha! I hadn't thought about it before.
Have a fantastic day crafty friends, I do hope you return to read my blog. Thank you for spending some of your day with me.
Crafty hugs
Ellie x
Hi Ellie, great to see you back. Eva has been asking after you. Hope you (and Annie) weren't too upset by all that snow and the wind and that you have water OK. Feel calmer soon! Sarah #10
ReplyDeleteOh the snow here was awful, couldn't get out the drive for a few days. Aww thanks. Missed you both x
DeleteHi Ellie. Good to see you here today. Enjoy the ruler!! :-)
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Hahah thank you! The excitement of a new ruler heheh x
DeleteNice to see you here again, hope you soon begin to feel much better. Glad you got a ruler, I couldn't do without mine.
ReplyDeleteHugs & Thank You for visiting me, Neet 6 xx
Aww thank you! Hehe yes I'll tackle my ruler once my desk is clean. X
DeleteAh Ellie, good to see you, delighted you can post. The ruler makes me laugh - long before he knew any better, my husband would cooment on non-straight lines and sticking things off centre. Now I know that in scrapbooking, titles that are meant to be straight annoy me horribly, but otherwise, I'm okay with 'jaunty angles'!!
ReplyDeleteHahahah I know the feeling so well. X
DeleteHi Ellie, rulers are so useful, couldn't be without mine. All of them, lol. Hope you feel calmer soon, but well done on getting back to some crafting. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 XxX
ReplyDeleteHehe thank you Shaz. Yes I am excited to use my ruler, simple things. X
DeleteI think that is why I do not do cards. Straight is not my thing. Hope you can relax soon. Have a good week

DeleteWell, there's lots of lovely things on your desk today - I had to zoom in for a really good peek!! I haven't used a ruler so much as since I've been making cards, it's invaluable. Glad you're feeling better and can post again.

Hahah yes there is a lot of stuff buried on my desk hehe. Needs a good zoom :) thank youuu ! X
Deletea ruler can be very essential... unless you go for the "deliberately crooked" plan! great to have you back. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteThank you Helen. Yes I don't have an excuse for wonky now hahaha x
DeleteHello Ellie, glad you could post and thanks for visiting. I don't think I could manage without a ruler or three :-) Hope you have a good week. Anne x 16 ( I think now, it got changed :-) )
ReplyDeleteHahah yes I may start collecting rulers hahaha! Thank you x
DeleteHi Ellie, it's nice to see you back - glad you are feeling well enough to post again. Your desk has loads of interesting stuff on it, including that ruler. You'll find it indispensable for all sorts of crafty tasks. Have a good week. Elizabeth x #27
ReplyDeleteThere is quite a lot of goodies spread across it isn't there. Hehe thanks ! X

ReplyDeleteHi Ellie - so many people suffer from anxiety - I sometimes struggle to keep on top of things as well and try to train my mind to just not go there. I find art-making helps a lot! Lovely to have you back! Happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting earlier! xx
ReplyDeleteHi Ellie, I think crafting is good for anxiety as it takes your mind off it. New ruler! very useful for all kinds of techniques as well as the obvious measuring stuff. Have a great woyww and a lovely creative week, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteHi Ellie, sorry for the late visit. Just remember a messy desk is a creative desk. I know how it is to struggle with anxiety, hopefully you find that crafty time is good therapy, I know I do :o) Annie C #14

ReplyDeleteHi Ellie, you made me laugh about the ruler - how on earth have you managed all this time without one!!! Haha! I've got 3 on my desk. That's not to say I can always find one in a hurry though. Thank you for your visit and your lovely comment - sorry to be so long replying but I'm going flat out on the mystery project as I now have a deadline to complete it - next Monday!! Sorry to be such a tease but it won't be long now!
