The Glittered Poppleberry

Good day friends! So today, a step by step of a little, quick and easy embellishment. To begin, I cut two pieces of card board and stuck, one onto the other. Next I used by black gesso and painted the cardboard. Once dry I covered the front with my wink of Stella pen. To seal this I applied some Matt mod podge onto the dry glitter. So pretty and sparkley! Using a metal embellishment from my stash? I thread some black shiney string through the loop. I adhered this metal with collall glue. Finished! With painty fingers hehe! Evening friends! Sorry I missed the past 2 days blog, I really wasnt well so didn't get round to any crafting. I would like to share a small canvas board I have made a start on though. This is the board so far and I shall hopefully finish it tomorrow. So these are the products I have used up.tp this point. First of all I painted the white canvas board using distress ink and water. This diluted the colour I brushed across the board using the darkest colour to the lightest. Next I tore some patterned paper into strips and stuck them down using Matt mod podge. I then mixed some copper pixie powder into my super thick slap it on by Indigoblu. I applied this copper slap it on using my palette knife. My board is dry now so I shall continue this tomorrow. Good Evening ! Late night blogging for me tonight as its been a busy day, I hope you have all had a good start to the weekend. A couple of days ago I blogged about a bottle lantern I have started making, I have now nearly finished them, the beautiful chocolate baroque stamps have been stuck on. I heat embossed these and fussy cut them previously and used my matt Mod Podge to adhere the cut outs to the bottles. This was quite a messy job but I think it has stuck quite well, tomorrow morning I will check it once everything is dry. I just need to tie a ribbon round the top of each and pop the fairy lights inside them. Yay sorted. Today I received some goodies I had ordered, they are a selection of Wow embossing powders that I picked. LOVE them! I bought them off Chloe's Creative Cards. Go have a look as they were at a great price. Tomorrow I plan to have a crafty day so shall be playing with these hopefully. Thank you for spending some of your evening ...
