Feeling a bit glittery ~

Image
Good morning crafty friends!! So today I just wanted to make a quick post to show a birthday card I've made. Its for a close friend of mine and I really enjoyed making it. I used my Glitter magic glue and glitters to add sparkly within the die cut design. The photo doesn't really catch the sparkles but its really pretty. I hope you are all well and staying safe, this time of year is hard for many, never mind with a pandemic on our hands. Stay safe and take care! Thanks for spending some of your day with me! Ellie x

A little happy post

Hey!! I got some happy post today woo hoo! I recieved my Tombo Mono sand erasers that I ordered from Amazon UK. This is my first time buying these so am super excited to try them out, I have heard lots of good feedback from them. I shall let you know how I find them once I give them a try. Also this evening we put up and decorated the Christmas tree, I'm feeling festive. LOVE IT! My attempt at crafting today turning into a mess in my opinion, although I won't throw it out, I will look at it again tomorrow and see if I have a crafty idea. My Jack Russell journal page was looking good until I got the glitter out. I'm obsessed. First I used my bee crafty bubble wrap stamp, I inked it up with picked raspberry and broken China. I stamped all over my page and let it dry. Then something possessed me to use my cosmic shimmer glitter glue and apply loads of bronze glitter. I need to control myself. I buffed some of the glitter off and still wasn't thrilled. So I am g...

JJJAMA Explore your creativity 1

Afternoon! Yay I have made my first ever entry for Junk Journals Junkies And Mindful Art, this group can be found on Facebook. The Explore your creativity prompts were as follows, use a stencil, using embossing paste and use the colour blue. This is how I created my journal page using these 3 prompts. First of all I chose the stencil I wanted as my focal point, this fairy stencil was gifted to me by a lovely friend. Next I had a rummage around for some vintage styled tissue paper. I ripped small areas of the tissue and applied it to my blue cardstock with matt mod podge. Once this has been gently dried with a heat tool I can then move on to adding some blue ink. These tissue papers always add some lovely background texture and detail. I applied Distress ink with an ink duster brush. I used Broken china distress ink for this. I added more ink in some areas than others to give some depth to the tissue paper pieces. Again I dried this with a heat...

Obsessed with glitter and no photos.

Hello Friends! I cannot believe its Thursday already, November is flying by so quickly. Super excited for Christmas though hehe! Today I have decided to share some goodies I have ordered and some other crafty bits from Lidl. I recently made an order with Anna Marie Designs , I love the products they stock and their Christmas products are gorgeous. I made an order of some MDF snowflakes, some glittered berries and a golden ball sprig. Please pop over and have a look at the website as you can also get some great items in the clearance section, good prices too. Today I also went over to my local Lidl today, to my surprise they had a few crafty bits. I immediately spotted the glitter and the gorgeous Autumnal colours so that went straight into the basket hehe. I picked up a colouring book and some Christmas stickers I plan to decorate my Christmas card envelopes with. I planned to add the photos of my goodies into the blog today but unfortunately my laptop isn't cooperating at...
