Little embellishment making

Image
Good day friends! So today, a step by step of a little, quick and easy embellishment. To begin, I cut two pieces of card board and stuck, one onto the other. Next I used by black gesso and painted the cardboard. Once dry I covered the front with my wink of Stella pen. To seal this I applied some Matt mod podge onto the dry glitter. So pretty and sparkley! Using a metal embellishment from my stash? I thread some black shiney string through the loop. I adhered this metal with collall glue. Finished! With painty fingers hehe! Thank you for spending some of your day with me. Crafty hugs Ellie x

My little toilet roll, handbag size notebook.

Good Afternoon Lovelies! So here is a step by step of how to make this little book with black pages. To begin I took a toilet roll and folded it flat, then cut along one side to open it out.   I used black gesso to paint the front and back. I misted the front with a shimmer mist. Next I cut some black cardstock to size.  Using a couple of stitches I sewed the pages into the spine of the booklet. To decorate I used some polka dot ribbon tape along the creases in the toilet roll cardboard. I adhered silver gems at opposite corners and finished up, with some drops either side of a black and white ribbon. I used cosmic shimmer glue for the details on the front. The finished product. I do hope you all give this a try. Cute, quick and easy! Thank you for spending some of your day with me! Crafty hugs! Ellie x

A fairy field...

Hello friends! Today I got crafting and making a fairy field frame. This frame was varnished when I bought it so when I painted it with black gesso, it resisted a little. I love the effect it gave though. I dried the gesso using my heat tool. I then selected some toadstools by Inkylicious and also painted them black. I wanted it to look like a silhouette. I had a little ornament fairy which would be perfect for this.I attached the fairy and toadstools using my glue gun. While this dried I started to make my magical background night sky. I used my distress oxides on some A6 cardstock. I die cut a circle from my lawn fawn stitched circle dies and inked it with the oxides again. I used this circle as my moon. For some depth I used a small toadstool stamp across the bottom of the page using versafine onyx black ink. Once the ink was dry and the moon attached I cut this down to size and assembled the frame back again. To finish off I added some nuvo glitter drops all over to...
