Halloween Series #7 - Spooky serum

Image
Good Morning crafty friends, Today I will share a small but simple card with you all. So from #5 post in the Halloween series, I had some of the purple background left over. I decided to use this in a tiny card idea that struck me. I die cut the slim strip of background 3 times to lattice the whole piece. This then was backed onto black Cardstock.  Using the alchemy stamp set from Sheena, with Crafters Companion. I stamped a potion bottle and coloured it with watercolour. I then cut this out and adhered it to the background. In the same stamp set I used the rustic paper square, cutting it out and colouring after stamping. With a black gel pen I wrote 'Spooky Serum' and glued it to the background also. To finish this little card I used Ranger Glossy Accents on the glass areas of the potion bottle, then left overnight to dry.  Thank you for spending some of your day with me! Happy WOYWW! I can't believe it's Wednesday again, this week has flown by. So before I share my desk with you all, please feel free to join in or have a nose at some more desks. Click here to swing by the stamping ground to join in. You have all been so lovely and excited about my grimoire project so I shall share some more of the progress with you. So this first pic is the mess I've left my desk in after crafting most of Tuesday. I've got tuck spots and pockets made from vintage book pages. They have all been distressed with oxide inks. My new tonic glue stick that goes on purple and dried clear. Really enjoying using it so far, works well for pocket making. Here is a pile of ephemera/pockets and envelopes that will be going into my grimoire eventually. Do you like my flower pot on the far left? Hehehe More mess!!! The pens I'm using to write in different fonts. Grimoire so far. The pile on the right is pages with writing on. The left pile...

My little spice jar

Image
Good Evening! Busy day here again today, I have had time to decorate this little spice jar I cleaned once it was empty. I haven't decided what will fit inside it yet. If you have any suggestions, drop me a comment. So once the jar was clean and dry, I painted it using Cosmic shimmer lustre paint and a sponge. Again once this was dry I could start decorating. So to start I used some pink ribbon and glued it around the jar using Collall all purpose glue. It's really strong adhesive. Then I decided to use some flowers for decoration, the flowers I use are Craft box flowers. This was the first time using them and I must say, the white ones I used, take colour very well. Also my wink of Stella pen was used.(LOVE IT)  So to colour I used my pink Spectrum Noir pink sparkle pen, I scribbled it onto my acrylic block and added a spray of water to it. I painted this onto each white flower and dried them. My wink of Stella glitter pen was then brushed over each dr...
