Hello Retro!

Hello Papercrafters,   How are we already half way into another week, this year is disappearing before I have chance to blink! I have been working on this cute little card, using products from my recent haul. If you would like to watch my crafty hauls, head over to my youtube channel.  This card is giving me retro 70's vibes, anyone else think so?   Products I used:  Simon Says Stamp Hello Die Concord & 9th Mod Turnabout Stamp Distress Oxide inks - Spiced Marmalade, Antique Linen, Peeled Paint and Faded Jeans Sentimentally Yours Charming Squares Die Set Zig Wink Of Stella Brush Pen       Method: The first step in making this card, was using the turnabout stamp, these are great fun and easy to use.  Good morning crafty friends! Firstly I want to apologise for now visiting many on my last post, things went badly that week, so I am sorry. For those who want to visit other desks, be sure to click here ! My desk  has exploded...  See, I told you ! So I've been making a journal from scratch, its for my managers daughter. I made the binding and everything inside too. She loved it , so I am thrilled to bits. I will be spending this afternoon tidying up. The most important thing is that I have made a space for my cuppa to sit. So I hope you are all well and staying safe in lockdown #2 for those in the area. My OH finally managed to collect our wardrobe insides from Ikea, so we will be sorting through all the clothes we own. I am working throughout lockdown as I work in an essential store. I am knackered to say the least, I hope you all are staying safe.  Thank you for spending some of your day with me! Ellie x

Happy WOYWW! I can't believe it's Wednesday again, this week has flown by. So before I share my desk with you all, please feel free to join in or have a nose at some more desks. Click here to swing by the stamping ground to join in. You have all been so lovely and excited about my grimoire project so I shall share some more of the progress with you. So this first pic is the mess I've left my desk in after crafting most of Tuesday. I've got tuck spots and pockets made from vintage book pages. They have all been distressed with oxide inks. My new tonic glue stick that goes on purple and dried clear. Really enjoying using it so far, works well for pocket making. Here is a pile of ephemera/pockets and envelopes that will be going into my grimoire eventually. Do you like my flower pot on the far left? Hehehe More mess!!! The pens I'm using to write in different fonts. Grimoire so far. The pile on the right is pages with writing on. The left pile...
