WOYWW-442 - 22.10.17


Hello friends!

My desk isn't too bad this morning, last night was a different matter all together. I had paint EVERYWHERE! I don't know how but I just managed to cover myself, my clothes and the carpet...Oops!

On my desk today are some bits Ive been using to make tags with. The ones in the pic aren't Christmas ones. The little jellyfish are super glittery but the camera wont pick it up. These little Jellyfish toppers will be mounted onto tag bases once I die cut them. I have been loving my tonic dies for making tags lately. They are fab!

    Hi Ellie, oh dear, the paint accident. I hope you managed to get it out of the clothes you were wearing, (and the carpet) or are you like me and wear old jeans and a top when doing lots of acrylic stuff?

    Covering yourself and everywhere else with paint is normal for me! I had to get rid of the carpet in my craft room for that very reason! LOL! Your jellyfish tags are very cute!     Sorry to hear about your paint accident, Ellie - sounds like the sort of thing I'm always doing! Your little jellyfish stamp is so cute! I'm so sorry to be so long replying to your lovely comment - thank you for it - I've been frantically busy this week with 4 big pheasants my hubby was given - made lots of freezer fodder with them (2 casseroles, stock, soup, marinated breasts etc.!) and also dealing with kitties and frantically knitting socks for church! Yes, it's been an adventure with Lily and her runny tummy but she's mostly been really good and hit the litter tray most of the time lol! She's getting better now.

 Good Morning Friends Happy WOYWW! So today, my desk is a tad empty. Yesterday there was no room to move as I had finished the advent swap envelopes.  So I had a trip to Bristol so popped into Hobbycraft to grab a few things, one being this pack on pretty coloured cardstock. I have also been playing with some more acrylic pouring, this was a dirty pour using the left over paint I had from making a gift. I use the spotty paper cups to pour the paint. I just wanted to apologise that I do take a few days to catch up, on reading your lovely blogs. I hope you don't mind as I like to relax with a cuppa and have a read of a few each day. Hello Everyone! Today I have spent the morning sanding drawers for my advent calendar. Lots of dust and sandpaper. See more desks at the stamping ground, click here. Sharing my work desk for the first time today, a lovely friend, Sarah (www.sarahscraftshed.co.uk) told me about it and I was very excited to take part. On yesterday's blog I posted a photo of a background I had created using distress inks, I decided to make something using this colourful piece today. To start I cut the watercolour card in half so I could create two toppers or mixed media pieces. WOYWW - 8.11.17

Happy Wednesday ! My second time posting for WOYWW and I am really enjoying myself, if you want to take part pop over to this pace. Its great fun seeing each others desks and crafty mess haha. This is my desk, a mess I know hehe! Okay, so working left to right on the first picture. Lots of ribbon on the left and a little jar of metal embellishments, a tub of bows, stick pins, mdf butterflies, a round box covered with vintage style tissue paper, small flowers and gems. Lastly on the right is adhesive glitter paper. This is a closer view, with all the goodies on my desk I decorated the box lid. So now I start being crafty if you would like to see the step by step, please read on. So to begin, I ripped some of the glitter adhesive paper into strips and stuck them randomly on the box.
