WOYWW 448 - 3/1/18



Happy New Year!

So today my desk looks like an explosion. I put everything away a couple of days ago too. Then decided I wanted to play with all my new goodies so out they all came Haha!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday and have a fantastic 2018.





The desk has spread onto the floor too. So on my desk I have the start of some thank you cards using the chameleon stamps set by 'Your next stamp. Then gifts I recieved for my birthday and Christmas : lots of stamp sets on left of the images. Dies by tonic, a sizzix Sidekick machine, a lap tray for sofa crafting, carry bags for crafting on the go. Nuvo drops, note pads, Faber castell water pot, huge glitter set and lots of other goodies I won't ramble on about. I would love to hear what goodies you all recieved.     didn't get any crafting goodies, but I have gift envy! I work solely on the floor... it's not good for the knees, but makes reaching for stuff easier! Helen #3

    Hi Ellie. Happy New Year. Lots of lovely crafting goodies. Have fun with them! I got a scan n Cut as main present, and then went on a little shopping trip to Hobbycraft and bought some dies, paints, paintbrushes, card blanks, two scrapbooking albums, and a few other little bits. Oh, and I ordered new units and a worktop for my craft room. I think that has taken care of a year's crafting budget... except I am going to a craft show next month... Lol.     My goodness, Father Christmas was certainly good to you. Not much on the crafting side for me, a skull die and stamp set but unfortunately I already had the stamp set. Not to worry, other lovely goodies including a fab steampunk watch. Yeah!

You commented on my desk - yes very full- I don't use it to craft at but always use my dining table - it is only used for special occasions - when all my family /friends come. We have a table in our kitchen - seats six - so ok for DH and me! I sometimes spread out onto that one as well. :-) Happy New Year Anne x #17

    Happy belated WOYWW..just getting around visiting. I love all those goodies, and I love the new sidekick; weird that it works for all the "other" die companies dies very well, but makes me nervous running Tim's thin dies through; let me know what you think.     You did do well, your family and friends know you well! I love the chameleon stamp set, can see that being very used. What’s the story with the glittery bottle of glue at the back there....erm, why and how and what have you used?!!

      Hahah well, I bought some cheap and cheerful sticky back glitter sheet from the range I believe. I thought my ugly wilko glue bottle needed some sparkle HAHAHA! Xxx

 Good Morning Friends Happy WOYWW! So today, my desk is a tad empty. Yesterday there was no room to move as I had finished the advent swap envelopes.  So I had a trip to Bristol so popped into Hobbycraft to grab a few things, one being this pack on pretty coloured cardstock. I have also been playing with some more acrylic pouring, this was a dirty pour using the left over paint I had from making a gift. I use the spotty paper cups to pour the paint. I just wanted to apologise that I do take a few days to catch up, on reading your lovely blogs. I hope you don't mind as I like to relax with a cuppa and have a read of a few each day. Hello Everyone! Today I have spent the morning sanding drawers for my advent calendar. Lots of dust and sandpaper. See more desks at the stamping ground, click here. Sharing my work desk for the first time today, a lovely friend, Sarah (www.sarahscraftshed.co.uk) told me about it and I was very excited to take part. On yesterday's blog I posted a photo of a background I had created using distress inks, I decided to make something using this colourful piece today. To start I cut the watercolour card in half so I could create two toppers or mixed media pieces. Firstly I used my 'Phill Martin Sentimentally yours' background stamp called 'Splatterlicious cracked & splattered background'. I love this stamp, I never use it on a block or using a stamp platform. Happy Wednesday ! My second time posting for WOYWW and I am really enjoying myself, if you want to take part pop over to this pace. Its great fun seeing each others desks and crafty mess haha. This is my desk, a mess I know hehe! Okay, so working left to right on the first picture. Lots of ribbon on the left and a little jar of metal embellishments, a tub of bows, stick pins, mdf butterflies, a round box covered with vintage style tissue paper, small flowers and gems. Lastly on the right is adhesive glitter paper. This is a closer view, with all the goodies on my desk I decorated the box lid. So now I start being crafty if you would like to see the step by step, please read on. So to begin, I ripped some of the glitter adhesive paper into strips and stuck them randomly on the box.
