WOYWW - 473 . 27thjune
Good morning friends!
Happy What's on your workdesk Wednesday!
If you wish to take part or have a look at some more desks, click here.
So today's desk contains my latest project, I am making a grimoire. I've made the cover from thick board and covered it with faux leather.
The inside pages I have inked and used different techniques on. This is very similar to a junk journal. I'm just waiting for my binding screws to arrive so I can assemble it. The last job will be filling all the pages with information.
Thank you for spending some of your day with me. Crafty hugs !
Ellie
Gosh Ellie, you are clever. I didn’t know what a grimoire was until you said, was about to rush over to google! The faux leather looks great. So your desk is a little triumph today!
ReplyDeleteHeheh thanks! It's certainly good fun to make :)
DeleteHi Ellie, thanks for visiting already. It was great to catch up with you online yesterday and to see you here again. Can't wait to see the grimoire in its finished glory; hope those binding screws arrive soon. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #5

DeleteGreetings Ellie. This may be the first time I've visited you, since I was away from WOYWW much of last year. I'd never heard of a grimoire before, but that's simply too beautiful to be a "junk" journal. I hope you share it with us when it's complete and even as you are filling it with wonderful journal pages. Happy WOYWW from #3.
