The Glittered Poppleberry

Good Afternoon friends! Today I am sharing the start of my planner, I am so excited to use it. To see some other desks pop over to see Julia here . So here is my desk today, not too busy this week. This is my A5 Filofax planner I've started setting up. The dividers I made myself using a g45 range I completely love. My planner is nowhere near finished but I thought I would share the start.  I've made the inserts myself on Microsoft word, it took 3 hours, I was going crazy hahah  Let me know, do you have a planner? Also I've been obsessed with buying stickers for it, there are so many beautiful ones on Etsy.  Let me know if you would like to see the finished planner flip through and I'll be sure to make a blog post of it, when it's finished. Good morning crafty friends! I hope this week is a good one for you. If you would like to do some sharing, of the desk variety please head over to the hub of activity . So yes, been a rough week at this end but at least I've done some crafty. I start with a clear desk and end with a 2x2 space to work in. I never learn. So left to right; handmade rosettes for gifts, potion bottle for my halloween goodie bags k haven't started yet. Handmade little decorated flag to give as embellishments for the recipients to use. New mega glittery pencil case I filled with washi. Cuppa, rainbow post it notes, more flags and I think that's it.  New bucket for smaller scraps on the left. I use these scraps for the flags and rosettes. Big shot plus with a box I decorated and filled with mini rosettes at a gift. So the past few days I have been making birthday cards and goodies as it seems all family and friend birthdays are in the next 3 month's. A birthday card for my other halfs father. My new unicorn mug on the right.  Love it!! Some flowers I die cut and layered up for decorating my mother's goodies. Speaking of those goodies, this is a little open up pocket of crafty goodies when it's finished. Nearly finished the front. Lots of die cut unicorns in one small packet with a little window. Hello friends! So I've written and decorated every page inside now, yes it was hard going but I loved it. So much fun looking at spells and information about crystals etc. Just the cover left to do now, I'll post more pics once that's done. Yes it's huge I know hahah, I got a bit carried away. Happy WOYWW! I can't believe it's Wednesday again, this week has flown by. So before I share my desk with you all, please feel free to join in or have a nose at some more desks. Click here to swing by the stamping ground to join in. You have all been so lovely and excited about my grimoire project so I shall share some more of the progress with you. So this first pic is the mess I've left my desk in after crafting most of Tuesday. I've got tuck spots and pockets made from vintage book pages. They have all been distressed with oxide inks. My new tonic glue stick that goes on purple and dried clear. Really enjoying using it so far, works well for pocket making. Here is a pile of ephemera/pockets and envelopes that will be going into my grimoire eventually. Do you like my flower pot on the far left? Hehehe More mess!!! Good day friends! So today, a step by step of a little, quick and easy embellishment. To begin, I cut two pieces of card board and stuck, one onto the other. Next I used by black gesso and painted the cardboard. Once dry I covered the front with my wink of Stella pen. To seal this I applied some Matt mod podge onto the dry glitter. So pretty and sparkley! Using a metal embellishment from my stash? I thread some black shiney string through the loop. I adhered this metal with collall glue. Finished! With painty fingers hehe! Hello friends! Today I wanted to show you some of the creations that have kept me busy lately, enjoy! This first picture is some parchment I have worked on using my clarity groovi system. Certainly worth a buy, very relaxing. This isn't yet finished, I am going to add some colour to it. This is a recent ATC I made. I used paints and dripped them over the ATC and then ripped up some patterned paper. I adhered the papers with mod podge and finally used glitter paste through a bubble stencil. Good morning friends and happy WOYWW! It's so much fun seeing each others desks and taking part, visit the stamping ground to get involved. Thank you to everyone that visited my desk last week and left some lovely comments. Today I have an appointment so will probably visit other desks late afternoon. So here is my desk, very busy this week... My grimoire binding screws arrived, yay! I tried them out and they fit perfectly. In the background some finished atcs. Hole punch at the ready for my pages.  The inside back page of my grimoire so far. My huge mod podge pot. Love it! A selection of 12x12 pages I trimmed down for my book. Adore these, gorgeous florals and William Morris. Love his art <3 Coffee !  Using my gansai Tambi watercolours to make some pages that I can write over if I wish. My favourite watercolours, so much fun to play with. Start of a little embellishment use card board. Finished little embellishment....
