Getting painty with my gel press!


Good day to you all!

I've been playing with my gel press plate! It's soo fun hehe. As you can see on the left of the first photo I use a pad of paper to clean my Brayer off on. These pages are then use on my art journal pages as they are full of such lovely colours and patterns, no need to waste the paint.




The paints I used were Pebeo acrylic paints and also some cosmic shimmer lustre paints, love them!! 
Below are a couple of pages I made in my art journal using my gel press backgrounds. The page with the face I added some spectrum noir sparkle pen, in several areas. Then using a distress crayon I drew the face straight into the page. I smudged lots of the lines so it didn't look as sharp or angular. The other page I used my mod podge to stick down some scripty tissue paper I have and then again using my distress crayons I drew circles and smudged them using my fingers. I love how this page came out. Very bright colours.

 Good Morning Friends Happy WOYWW! So today, my desk is a tad empty. Yesterday there was no room to move as I had finished the advent swap envelopes.  So I had a trip to Bristol so popped into Hobbycraft to grab a few things, one being this pack on pretty coloured cardstock. I have also been playing with some more acrylic pouring, this was a dirty pour using the left over paint I had from making a gift. I use the spotty paper cups to pour the paint. I just wanted to apologise that I do take a few days to catch up, on reading your lovely blogs. I hope you don't mind as I like to relax with a cuppa and have a read of a few each day. Hello Everyone! Today I have spent the morning sanding drawers for my advent calendar. Lots of dust and sandpaper. See more desks at the stamping ground, click here. WOYWW - 8.11.17

Happy Wednesday ! My second time posting for WOYWW and I am really enjoying myself, if you want to take part pop over to this pace. Its great fun seeing each others desks and crafty mess haha. This is my desk, a mess I know hehe! Okay, so working left to right on the first picture. Lots of ribbon on the left and a little jar of metal embellishments, a tub of bows, stick pins, mdf butterflies, a round box covered with vintage style tissue paper, small flowers and gems. Lastly on the right is adhesive glitter paper. This is a closer view, with all the goodies on my desk I decorated the box lid.
