WOYWW 600!! woohoo!!

 Good morning lovely, crafty friends!

It's week 600 of WOYWW! Absolutely fantastic collection of crafters and desks, seriously head over to the Stamping ground HERE to get involved. We are a friendly bunch, honest!

Unfortunately I wont be able to take part in the zoom meet up today, because of therapy. I trust you will all have a good giggle. Really thrilled to be part of this crazy group and so pleased to see the 600 milestone get smashed!

So on the topic of desks, here is mine ...

You know all those Christmas elements I stamped, coloured and fussy cut. I didn't use a single one on my cards. What a plonker! Decided to pop one inside each card instead as an extra detail. So my cards are finally finished and now to write them all out. Then onto making some little boxes for bath bombs I am gifting to a few friends.

So the hounds, they both got bought a coat the other day, as its getting chilly. They look awfully posh now and seem to enjoy having them on too!

Since its Lyrax's first Christmas as he's a pupper, we brought the decorations down from the attic. Lets just say he's not sure why there is a tree in the lounge. He's taken to sitting on his kitchen bed and giving it a disapproving look. hahaha such a daft dog!

Annie loves Christmas, so she was bouncing around as the tree got unpacked. I think she knows it means treats and toys, smart little bugger!

Thank you for spending some of your day with me

  1. Well Ellie, the really good news is that you don’t have to miss the Zoom meeting(S) if you want to join in.....they’re on Saturday! I will post again about them on Friday. Meanwhile..oh gal, all that cutting and colouring, I thought it was only me that did that sort of thing! I’d be too mean to add them as extras, they would be waiting to be made into cards for next year!!

  2. Happy 600th WOYWW!! Wow, all that cutting and colouring, how therapeutic - I’m with Julia, they deserve to be cards in their own right. Love the though of Lyrax being afraid of the tree, better that than having it over, lol!

  3. Was just panicking about the zoom meetings then saw Julia's comment above - phew. thought I'd got it wrong again! Hope you can make it. I'm just loving that script Merry Christmas - is it a stamp? (Please don't tell me it's your handwriting I'll get depressed). Doggies look splendid intheir winter coats and clever them to realise Christmas means extra rteats! Happy 600th WOYWW, have a lovely week, stay well, stay safe, Cindy xx #30

  4. Hi Ellie. Oh my - and you were being so industrious last week with all that cutting out! Still, if you are popping them inside the cards, folks will think they are getting a nice little gift!! Win, win! Had to chuckle at the thought of the disapproving look - hope the pup soon gets used to the tree! My daughter has a couple of cats, and now has discovered she needs to tie the tree to the ceiling each year... yes, cat in branches soon brings the whole lot tumbling down...
Hope you get to join in the zoom meeting on Saturday.
    Take care. God bless.

  5. You make adorable cards. I love the way you made these. They are stunning. Cute pups, too. Love their sweaters. I'm not sure we've met before, because I haven't been round much this past year. Happy 600th from #6.

  15. A nice busy desk, Ellie, and I'm glad all that fussy cutting isn't going to waste lol! Thank you for sharing about your adorable dogs! Their new coats are very smart. The kitties had to wear little body suits after they were spayed, because they kept pulling their stitches out, and they looked so cute! They soon got used to them and weren't fazed by them. They all have different little personalities, don't they, and like humans, some love Christmas and some don't lol lol!!

  16. I do things like that, a lot of work on something and then don’t use it, at least you can pop them in the cards. Happy 600th WOYWW Angela #42
