WOYWW 457 - 7.3.18 - an utter mess

Good day crafty friends! It's been a while, unfortunately I've been struggling to get my anxiety to calm down enough to post on my blog. I must say though I am pleased to be back.

So today I am sharing my disaster of a desk, if you would like to see more desks and crafty inspiration visit Julia at the stamping ground.

I hope to be tidying it on Friday, see the ruler on my desk, that's my first one in 10 years. My partners mother decided I needed one for crafting hahaha! I hadn't thought about it before.

Have a fantastic day crafty friends, I do hope you return to read my blog. Thank you for spending some of your day with me.

  4. Ah Ellie, good to see you, delighted you can post. The ruler makes me laugh - long before he knew any better, my husband would cooment on non-straight lines and sticking things off centre. Now I know that in scrapbooking, titles that are meant to be straight annoy me horribly, but otherwise, I'm okay with 'jaunty angles'!!

  7. Well, there's lots of lovely things on your desk today - I had to zoom in for a really good peek!! I haven't used a ruler so much as since I've been making cards, it's invaluable. Glad you're feeling better and can post again.

  12. Hi Ellie - so many people suffer from anxiety - I sometimes struggle to keep on top of things as well and try to train my mind to just not go there. I find art-making helps a lot! Lovely to have you back! Happy WOYWW and thanks for visiting earlier! xx

  13. Hi Ellie, I think crafting is good for anxiety as it takes your mind off it. New ruler! very useful for all kinds of techniques as well as the obvious measuring stuff. Have a great woyww and a lovely creative week, Angela xXx

  16. Hi Ellie, you made me laugh about the ruler - how on earth have you managed all this time without one!!! Haha! I've got 3 on my desk. That's not to say I can always find one in a hurry though. Thank you for your visit and your lovely comment - sorry to be so long replying but I'm going flat out on the mystery project as I now have a deadline to complete it - next Monday!! Sorry to be such a tease but it won't be long now!
